It is surrounded by a landscape of singular beauty, in the Sierra de Gredos. In 1461, it was donated by King Enrique IV to his favorite Don Beltrán de la Cueva, ancestor of the current owner and also owner of the Cuéllar castle.

It consists of two square-shaped enclosures with circular cubes in the corners. Remains of columns, walls and staircases, and it is owned by the Duke of Alburquerque.
